New Clients at Shaw Chiropractic Clinic
We look forward to welcoming you to Shaw Chiropractic Clinic! We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment to allow ample time to complete our new client paperwork.
We’ll have you change into a gown so that we can complete your posture analysis and examination, so you don’t have to be concerned with wearing any particular type of clothing.
Your First Visit
When you arrive, our friendly reception team will offer you a warm welcome and refreshments. You’ll complete your new client forms and get changed in a private changing room.
Then you’ll meet with your chiropractor, who will talk with you about what’s going on in your body and your goals for care. Once we understand your situation, we’ll move on to a thorough physical examination, including orthopaedic, neurological testing, chiropractic and postural analysis. This first visit is scheduled for one hour.
We take a full-body approach to determine any areas of dysfunction in your body in addition to focusing on your pain of complaint. We follow the procedures and protocols of Sacro-Occipital Technique to locate anything that’s not functioning optimally in your body. We’ll let you know what we find, what areas of the spine may be dysfunctional, and what those areas can impact.
